Intuitive Creative
Hey! My name is Yarelit Mendoza, and I am currently in the process of channeling my creativity. I enjoy crafting, or putting things together based on an aesthetic. I have experience in video editing, pixel art, watercolor, and web development from personal projects, which could be found under "Personal Projects"! I go into projects having somewhat an idea or vision, but ultimately let the process unfold naturally and by feeling (hence the intuition). Currently, I am inspired by baroque and rococo~ Why you ask? Because I am drawn to hyper femininity, boldness, and drama, which are perfectly encompassed by baroque and rococo ♡
There was a time when I focused on my YouTube channel under the alias "MelliBL" in which I did recaps of BL (Boy's Love) Manhwa (Korean comics) that I loved. The channel cultivated almost 150 subscribers before it was hit by 2 copyright strikes, which ultimately endagered by channel. Sadly, I had to put that hobby to rest, but I am thankful for the experience.

Summary:
This project involved more planning, including note-taking, writing
dialogue, and refining my ideas with ChatGPT. Although it received just over 1,000 views, I consider
it my strongest work. It also marked the point where I began adding a silly bit at the end of my
videos.

Summary: This was my latest project before my YouTube channel received copyright strikes. Unfortunately, it was difficult to complete this piece due to being discouraged. However, I am happy with the effort and direction of this video, since I decided to go back to impromptu editing and voicing.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I moved to Camarillo, California in 2014 in order to attend CSUCI. I enrolled as an Art major, but changed to Computer Science a year and a half later. I graduated with a B.S. in 2021, and got my first job offer shortly before graduating by Modern Campus.
I worked as a Technical Support Associate, followed by Technical Support Specialist II, then finally Team Lead in the span of (almost) 4 years. However, my curiosity and drive for change and growth led me to The Trade Desk early 2025. I was offered a role as a Platform Support Coordinator and have been thriving ever since.
The role at TTD allows me to feel grounded in routine, with enough challenge to stay enaged and sharp. Working for them has taught me the importance of balancing, advocating for myself, and looking at difficulties with a different perspective. The balanced and well-managed environment has allowed me to pursue what I’m passionate about on the side (creativity), while maintaining a healthy work ethic for the company.
I am currently in a place in my life where I want to pursue creativity with intention. I want to create pieces that come from the soul and align with my inner world that I can share through community. Although I do not know what this entails as I am in the early stages, I am proud to share that my piece "Agape Altar" will be available for public viewing at Gallery 28 LBC on Saturday, January 17th. An artist reception will take place from 2pm - 5pm and the installation will remain until the end of February, 2026.
